Caroline Roberts is an acrylic painter working out of Houston, Texas. Her acrylic paintings often include mixed media embedded in the layers of acrylic paint.
She shows her work to anyone she can get to look at it - all visitors to her home are treated to a studio tour.
Caroline started out studying engineering and has a MEng degree from the University of Manchester, UK. After many years in industry she saw the light and followed her true calling, studying first with the Open College of the Arts in the UK and then at Glassell school of Art in Houston.
Caroline was born in the UK (Birmingham to be exact) and has never lived in any area longer than seven years. That honor goes to Aberdeen where she grew up. She has lived in Houston, TX for over five years now and has not plans to move. Will she be calling Houston home for longer than anywhere else? |
